All - I am looking for 25-20 ammo for my 1894 marlin takedown, I do not reload (yet) so am looking for a place to purchase, any suggestions?
You may get lucky and find some at one of the online stores. When I got my 1894cl Classic last May, I found one box of Remington ammo locally for $58/50rds. May I suggest that if you plan on getting started reloading, you do so sooner rather than later. At $58 a box you can get yourself setup to reload for the price of 3 boxes of ammo. Midway has 25/20 brass at present.

Contact Shuman's Gun Shop in Newville, PA. My last visit they had almost a case of it for bout $50/box. I find the smaller shops that only have mostly local business have more of the rarer stuff, both brass and loaded ammo, than the big box places that everyone can access on the net.
1894-25-20: PM me if you want the gory details on loading the 25-20. Hell, I might even have a spare set of dies.
In stock and yours for $55 at sportsmansguide. Here's the link.
Buy a couple boxes - get some dies - reload after that

Please let us know how it shoots once you get some ammo.
There's some great advice here on MO, be sure to check out the Reloading forum, there's a 25-20 sticky with bunches of hints etc.
