A couple months ago I went to our farm to shoot a little. I had my .32 Rugers and my 1894CB32. My brother flagged me down and said a guy he worked with was on his way to shoot some too. If I didn't mind. Me and the guy drove down in the pature where I've got some targets and stands set up. I'm just planning to practice a little for Cowboy Action. He wants to try some new reloads out in a Rossi or Handi-Rifle .22-250. We set up at the 100 yards mark for him and I move some steel targets up for my practice. After a few rounds have gone down range I ask him if he'd like to try out the Marlin. So he sends a tube full down range. A couple days later my brother tells me the guy told him, "If I hadn't already bought the .22-250, I'd buy one of them .32's." hehehe, Addictive, ain't they?
So today my brother tells me, "That guy that works with me, went and bought him a new "deer" rifle."
I say, "Oh yeah, what'd he get?"
My brother answers, "A .357!"
I ask, "What kind?"
My brother answers as he rolls his eyes, "A Marlin!"
I just smile and think to myself, " Poor fellow, don't even know what's happening to him!"
Next time I go shoot with him I'll take my .45 with the red dot on it. Then I'll tell him about this place and y'all bunch of pushers can help him with his problem the same way ya helped me.

It isn't that hard! Just let the rifles do the selling!
I have given up reality for Lever actions, Jeeps and have a wife that understands. It's a better world!

Got three standing offers on my .357 CB and all three came from one range session.

He might realize what is happening on the second rifle, maybe the third.
I'm gonna have to write a book, "A List of Excuses, Lies, and Coverups For the Marlin Owner or 'Honey, We've Had That Gun for Years!-A Guide To Marlinitis"
It could probably be any other -itis also.
Right now I'm wondering how long it's going to take for my wife to realize there is a new-to-me Star Firestar Plus 9mm hanging around.
