Somebody fed Hickok45 the wore out machinery crap,he believes it,and passes it on to hundreds of thousands of subscribers at 5 min on into 6 min. I turned it off. A bullcrap rumor that not only won't die,it's been revived lately more than ever. I saw it here in this thread a few days ago. Some guy said that just before Marlin went "belly up" it was turning out crap. It's 100% hogwash. I do Hickok's vids every once in a while, and he's good, but I shut this one down.
And for those that post that malarkey here,I suggest you read what former Marlin North Haven employees have written.

Two different bullets without adjusting the sights any?
Look at a wolf, look at a deer, look at a human, look at a black bear. The 30-30 was designed to be the most efficient caliber to down any of them within the range you would most commonly encounter such creatures.

I've been following Hickok45 since the beginning. The original .44 Mag videos are now at least 4 years old. He's had that rifle a long time,he competed with it. I'm still surprised and sad that he would air the wore out machinery lie without at least checking his sources. I like his videos,he's a real straight-up gun guy,and a Junior High School teacher.
The Marlin North Haven disinformation is just irritating. I don't hate anybody, but Freedom Group's PR guys deserve a special circle in Hell. They've done a couple hundred Connecticut Marlin employees a wrong.

on that----Hickok regurgitated the same crap a couple months back when testing out a Remlin 1895. He was a MO member at one point but doesn't log into the site that much anymore. He needs to read KON and Tomrays posts on what REALLY went down concerning the Freedom Group buyout.

I informed him about the incorrect information via YouTube's comments system. Remington has done a good job spreading that manure across the Internet.

I saw that the other day. I also saw his video on the Remlin 45-70. He's such a gentleman.

You don't get to be Hickok's age and not have some crust on you. Older folk have a way of just say'in what's on their minds and the more outrageous, the better. Hickok's channel is generally very civil and anybody can go there and feel like they just dropped in on a friend or relative, uninvited and leave feeling like that was O.K. for them to do so cause they're kin or a good friend. It's not my style but I could learn a thing or two from Hickok.

Hickok isn't out to change the world but you can come on over to his place, chew and jaw and shoot a little.

Oh, and don't really go to his place uninvited cause you'll get shot. Being nice on the internet doesn't mean you welcome to trespass.
