I am posting here instead of the ammo or tacticool sections as I think more will see my question here. Which weight would be best to keep in the 94 we keep loaded with factory loads for a house gun? When they carried revolvers all the police I knew carried the 125s. With the increased in speed from the longer barrel would the 158s be a better choice? Any real world experiences with these two weights in the longer barrels would be appreciated.
If you are trying to succeed at anything with a centerfire firearm, choose the most accurate ammunition. ANYTHING shot out of an 1894C is going to over penetrate indoors unless you live in an underground bomb shelter. Use with caution.
I to preferred 158 grain in my Marlin 1894C and it shoots them well. Just my opinion.
